Letter from NYC 2010 (9): NYC WaterfrontTwo weeks ago a friend took me and some visitors to the waterfront in Long Island City (LIC). I was astonished how it had been transformed. As a matter of fact, there is work on the NYC waterfront just about everywhere, and the city is so much the better for it. Since on the LIC waterfront you can see the entire Manhattan skyline, it is arguably the best view in NYC. Personally I think it is better than the view from Brooklyn.
